Meet Wasilik
His History
He graduated in 1984 from El Rancho High School in Pico Rivera. After going into the workforce for a couple of years, he joined the United States Navy in 1986. He was in boot camp for 9 weeks in San Diego, California.
He stayed in San Diego while he continued his U.S. Naval training in Radio Communication. He graduated in the summer as a Radioman Class “A” June 20, 1986 and stayed in San Diego until he completed his service.
After the Navy, he went to work at Sysco Foods in Walnut, California while he studied for his California Real Estate license and in 1989 he joined ERA Realty.
Serving in the United States Navy, going through boot camp and Radio Communication training taught him a lot of Leadership, Discipline and Respect. It was tough to be away from family and friends for the first time in his young life.
He remembers thinking in his first few weeks of joining, “Did I make the right decision joining?” YES, he was and still is honored to have served; it has made him the person he is today. He wouldn't trade it for the world!

He started his Real Estate career in 1989 for ERA Realty, and in 1996, he became a Real Estate Broker and opened his own company, United Klimenko Realty, located in Montebello, California. In 1998, they moved to Uptown Whittier, where they continued growing and became one of the top Real Estate offices in Los Angeles County.
